Low Battery warning on Dr. First EPCS Hard Token
Solution
The battery life expectancy of the hard tokens from Dr. First is 2-3 years. Once you receive a low battery warning contact ITNS support with the name of the provider whose token received the warning, their NPI number, the practice name, and the address where the token should be shipped.
ITNS will contract eMDs support who will contact Dr. First and a new token will be sent (free of charge) to the address provided.
Once the provider receives their new token they'll need to activate it by going to https://ui.epcsdrfirst.com/pob/login
The provider can then log in using their credentials and activate the new token.
